Most Cape towns give you one shore. Yarmouth runs from the warm sound-side beaches in the south to the quiet marsh boardwalks on the bay — with Route 6 exits at either end for a clean arrival.
South Yarmouth
Sound-side swimming and Seagull Beach
The busiest stretch of Yarmouth shoreline, where Parker's River meets Nantucket Sound. Calmer water than the outer Cape, big sandy parking lots, and lifeguards through Labor Day.
Seagull Beach
Half-mile of sound-side sand with a snack bar; warm shallow water that kids can wade in for ages.
Parker's River
Tidal river that runs behind the dunes — paddleboard rentals and kayak put-ins right off Sea View Avenue.
