Yarmouth has two coasts and three villages

Most Cape towns give you one shore. Yarmouth runs from the warm sound-side beaches in the south to the quiet marsh boardwalks on the bay — with Route 6 exits at either end for a clean arrival.

South Yarmouth

Sound-side swimming and Seagull Beach

The busiest stretch of Yarmouth shoreline, where Parker's River meets Nantucket Sound. Calmer water than the outer Cape, big sandy parking lots, and lifeguards through Labor Day.

Seagull Beach

Half-mile of sound-side sand with a snack bar; warm shallow water that kids can wade in for ages.

Parker's River

Tidal river that runs behind the dunes — paddleboard rentals and kayak put-ins right off Sea View Avenue.

Walk-to-beach homes

Most of our South Yarmouth houses are five to ten minutes on foot from a town landing.

The family-vacation engine of the Cape — mini golf, ice cream, and arcades within a mile of Englewood Beach. Good base if you're traveling with kids who want something to do after dinner.

Englewood Beach

Quiet sound-side beach off Berry Avenue; smaller crowds than Seagull and easy on-street resident-sticker parking.

Mini golf and arcades

Pirate's Cove, Skull Island, and the Cape Cod Inflatable Park are all within a few minutes of the house.

Walking-or-quick-drive distance to seafood shacks, breakfast spots, and the Hyannis line for a night out.

Bay-side quiet and Gray's Beach

The other side of the town line — Cape Cod Bay, antique houses on Route 6A, and a long boardwalk over the salt marsh at Gray's Beach. Slower pace, older trees, fewer cars.

Gray's Beach boardwalk

Quarter-mile wooden walkway over the marsh to the bay — sunset spot the locals send you to.

Historic 6A

Sea captain houses, used bookshops, and the Edward Gorey House all on one stretch of road.

Easy off Route 6

Exits 67 through 75 land you in Yarmouth in a few minutes — no traffic-light slog from the bridge.

Beaches and Walks Worth the Drive

Yarmouth's draw is its variety — sound-side family beaches, marsh-edge sunsets, a river built for paddling, and a rail trail nearby.
